FAILED (Write to device failed ) · Issue #793

Trying to flash a brand new Pixel 3 , but something looks wrong Some error messages and apparently stuck in fastboot

@usenix In the first error message it says you do not have an active slot I would try booting into fastboot mode and from your host computer

fastboot set active slot The solution was to install the fastboot driver for the phone When plugged in and in fastboot mode, device manager > right click on the device:

fastboot get active slot current generation devices Deleting a profile will wipe the corresponding Weaver slot and a factory reset of the device wipes all of the Weaver slots
